2 CEU Hours -CRSE2608-0019- Class 2/3 Circuits Under the Restructured 2026 NEC; The 2026 NEC broke up the old Class 2/3 world — power sources now live in Article 721, cables in Article 722, raceways in Article 723, with Article 725 holding the definitions. This class walks the new structure with the security installer in mind, so you know exactly where every rule you use moved to. This class is also appropriate for the Registered Unlicensed Technician (RT/RE).  This class meets the State requirement for Code hours.

2 CEU Hours -CRSE2608-0018- Wiring Methods & Separation Rules for Security Circuits; Keeping low-voltage legal: separation from power circuits, conductor sizing and overcurrent protection under the restructured Article 722, and the securing-and-supporting rules from Chapter 3 that inspectors check first on security wiring.  This class meets the State requirement for Code hours.

4 CEU Hours - CRSE2608-0017- Burglar Alarm System Design, Installation & Field Practices; This 4-hour course covers the whole burglar alarm system from the risk walk to the final walk test: control panels, zone circuits and end-of-line supervision, contacts, motion and glassbreak detection, wireless done honestly, keypads, communicators, programming against false alarms, and troubleshooting from a known baseline — plus the Minnesota license and municipal alarm ordinances that stand behind every job.

This course is designed for Power Limited Technicians (PLT), Registered Unlicensed RT/RE, and other licensed electrical professionals who install, maintain, inspect, or design low-voltage and limited-energy systems.  This class meets the State requirement for Technical hours.
