CRSE2509-0065-HVAC Principles and Code Essentials-(PLT/RT/RE) This two-hour course provides electricians and Power Limited Technicians (PLTs) REgistered Unlicensed Technicians with an in depth review of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements as they apply to residential and commercial HVAC systems. Students will examine how code articles impact the installation and servicing of motors, air-conditioning equipment, appliances, heating equipment, grounding and bonding, and electrical clearances. Special emphasis is placed on disconnect placement, lockout/tagout, labeling, and coordination between trades to ensure safety and compliance. (2 Hours NEC Code)
NEC 2026 Chapter 8- Article 800: Communications Systems (2 hours Code)- This 2-hour NEC Code course provides a focused overview of Chapter 8, Article 800 of the 2026 National Electrical Code, covering the general requirements for communications systems outside of and entering buildings. The course is designed to refresh and educate Power Limited Technicians (PLT), registered unlicensed technicians, and electricians on the scope, intent, and application of Article 800 as adopted in the 2026 NEC.
