Every day below is state-approved continuing education for any Power Limited Technician license — the hours count exactly the same whether the topic is your specialty or brand new to you. Plenty of techs choose by date, not topic, and walk out with 8 hours and a new skill set. You cannot pick wrong.
The Eight Days
Every day is 8 CEU hours taught in one sitting, built new on the 2026 National Electrical Code. Each day stands completely on its own — there is no required order, and no day is a prerequisite for any other.

Common Questions
Do the days have to be taken in order?
No. There is no Day 1 or Day 2 — every day stands alone. Take them in any order, weeks or months apart, in different cities, or one in person and one by webinar.
Will any two days really cover my whole renewal?
Yes. A Minnesota PLT license needs 16 CE hours each licensing period, including 4 hours of code. Every pairing of two days delivers all 16 hours with the code requirement covered.
What if I already took a day this cycle?
Each day is registered with the state as its own separate set of courses, so any two different days give you 16 unique hours — no repeated credit, no wasted seat time.
I'm an RT/RE registered technician — can I attend?
Yes. The code classes on every day are appropriate for Registered Unlicensed Technicians. Holders of other electrical licenses are welcome too — check your own code-hour requirement with DLI.
Can my company send the whole crew?
